Samsung Launched Galaxy A16 5G Promising 6 OS Updates At ₹18,999

Samsung is gearing up its series segment with the debut of all new Galaxy A16 5G, promising 6 OS updates and featuring a Super Amoled Display.

Samsung, one of the largest mobile manufacturers in India, is gearing up its budget series segment with an all-new phone featuring 90Hz Super Amoled display with 8GB RAM, and will be available in 128GB and 256GB of storage variants for ₹18,999 and ₹21,999, respectively.

This phone is going to replace Samsung's A15 5G. However, there is not much difference between the older and newer one except the processor, which is upgraded to a Dimensity 6300 chipset from 6100+, powering it with 2.4 GHz of clock speed. Also, there is going to be a big upgrade in terms of the software experience, as the brand has promised for 6 OS updates, which was earlier just 4 OS updates in the A15 5G phone.

The four key specification for the phone are going as follows:

  1. Super AMOLED Display
  2. 50 MP Triple Rear Camera with a 5 MP Ultra wide camera
  3. IP54: Dust and Water Durability
  4. 6 OS Upgrades & 6 years of Security Updates

Once again, Samsung is going to keep its consistency with the same simple design featuring three camera modules in vertical and will launch in three different colors which are Gold, Light Green, and Blue Black. Samsung's A series phones usually target the offline markets, as this phone's specification keeps it far away to even compare with the online competition, but in the offline market it is going to compete with Vivo's Y58 5G and Oppo's A3 Pro and F27 5G.
