Pepsi Unveils New Logo and Visual Identity for Its 125th Anniversary

Pepsi, the iconic soft drink brand, is set to launch a new logo and visual system this fall, marking the brand's 125th anniversary.

The iconic Pepsi globe logo is getting a new facelift, featuring a completely new modern and contemporary look while still honoring its 125-year history.

Paying a great homage to its rich heritage, the new logo will be hitting nationwide shelves in North America this fall, in time for the brand’s 125th anniversary, and globally in 2024. Pepsi is also moving towards sustainable packaging, as the brand has begun to convert all 20oz bottles of Pepsi, including Pepsi Zero Sugar, to 100% recycled PET in the United States as of 2022. Now the brand is taking a leap into the future with its all-new vibrant and cool design.

Since early 2023, we have seen a number of facelifts from PepsiCo. From rebranding the iconic Sierra Mist with New Starry Lime Soda to launching all-new and improved Pepsi Zero Sugar, the soft drink brand is on a mission to modernize and streamline its product portfolio. Pepsi is also showcasing its commitment to staying relevant and innovative in a highly competitive market. The brand has introduced a number of new varieties, including the recent Nitro Pepsi, Pepsi x Peeps, and Pepsi for SodaStream. It is clear that the Pepsi brand is going to stay ahead of the curve with its bold moves.

Coming back to the new visual identity, the brand looks successful in creating a modern design while also preserving its past. The brand has used the classic Pepsi globe and wordmark but updated the colors to include electric blue and black, giving it a more vibrant and contemporary look. The design also features a new silhouette, which showcases its accessibility to everyone, and the modern, custom typeface reflects the brand’s confidence and unapologetic mindset. The signature Pepsi pulse is meant to evoke the energy and excitement of Pepsi-Cola and music, which have been important parts of Pepsi’s legacy. Overall, this new design features a number of major changes; however, it will be interesting to see people’s reactions to the changes.

The answer to all your questions will come to an end this fall when Pepsi with its new logo and visual identity will be available across North America and globally in 2024. To stay up-to-date with the latest news and updates, follow our blog on a regular basis.
