Dickey’s Barbeque Pit Revamps Menu to Combat Inflation and Simplify Offerings

Dickey's Barbeque Pit has trimmed its menu by 42%, offering traditional barbecue meats and plates, and added combo meals to provide added value to customers.

Dickey’s Barbeque Pit is revamping its traditional menu, which had been continued for the last 81 years. The main intention behind the change is to combat the increasing inflation and to deliver a more understandable and simplified menu.

The barbecue chain has trimmed its menu by 42%, offering only its most traditional barbecue meats and plates, and added combo meals. These changes will also help the food chain deliver faster service to its customers while providing a better experience.

Dickey’s Barbeque Pit has redesigned its menu boards, now featuring core barbecue offerings like brisket, ribs, kielbasa sausage, pulled pork, chicken, and smoked wings as plates and sandwiches, but with fewer specialty sandwiches. To help customers combat high inflation, the fast-food chain now offers seven combo meal options for added value.

The fast-food chain has removed Turkey from the nationwide menu due to a lack of supply chain. However, customers can still enjoy smoked and fried turkeys for holiday meals.

To keep things spiced up, the three Dickey’s Barbeque Pit signature sauces will remain on the menu, featuring the famous original, sweet and spicy barbecue sauce options. To help you during the festive season, family packs and catering will also remain on the menu.

The burnt ends have been removed from the menu, and sides have been trimmed from 11 to seven items. But there is no need to worry as the fan-favorite sides, mac and cheese and fried okra, are still available on the nationwide menu.

Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, stated that their decision to simplify the menu will help the restaurant chain provide the highest quality of service to customers while also keeping the franchise profitable and offering true value to loyal customers.

The new revamped menu is now live, and if you are interested in ordering something delicious and cost-effective, try the combo meals. Check out all the deals and offers for the month of March over here.
